And look, the first page is about a man in New Zealand. The Bay of Plenty has a warm climate and he would not have had any problems doing that in the 3 years. I am embarrassed to admit that I was/am clueless about "permaculture". I am an avid gardener, although working with a 90-100 day growing season is a challenge, and look forward to learning a lot from your blog.
